Personalized Stationary as a Present

When you’re at a loss in regards to what might be an appropriate gift for a family member or a friend, you should regard giving them personalized stationary as a present. If you pick out the right personalized stationary to suit an individual, regardless of their age or job, they are sure to value this thoughtful gift.  You can pick out stationary that reflects their personality and style, and this will encourage them to use it because it will suit them so well.

Think about what types of interests a person has before you pick out their letter paper.  If they enjoy playing sports, you might want to choose some stationery that has some graphics that correspond to their favorite sport to either watch or play.  Or, if someone has a love of creatures, you could choose some creatures or an animal print to adorn the cards.  It will give the cards enough unique flair to let them acknowledge that you only had them in mind when you picked out the stationery.

If the stationery is a gift for a business associate, you might want to stick to a more formal or traditional pattern.  This is because it’s likely that they will keep this stationery at the office for business correspondence to clients or colleagues.  You should pick a nice script font, and pair that with an off-white or pastel shade of composition.  This is a very tasteful gift for a boss or co-worker if you want to impress them with a thoughtful gesture, but don’t know them well enough to get them something very private.

However, if the stationery is for a close friend, you can have more fun with the style.  Use their preferred colors as part of the main theme, and make sure to include a nickname they might have had from college as part of the personalized touch.  You can make a bold statement by pairing some striking colors together, and you can match this to their own personal sense of style.  They will enjoy writing letters on the stationery that you give them because it so perfectly suits their taste.
