Marketing definition
Marketing is defined in various ways, depending on the understanding of the people. The main definition focuses on the customer and satisfaction and directions. Defined by Kotler marketing is a common procedure through which an individual and/or group can acquire what they actually need through generating and trading products and value with the others.
The perception of marketing is a philosophy. It deals with the customer satisfaction and focuses on the business activities. Marketing is different from selling. It concerns itself with the actions and methods of people getting together to exchange cash with the product. It consists of efforts to determine, generate, produce and please the customer needs.
It is determined by the heads to look upon delighting the customer needs. The important factors are contained in marketing are as follows:
•   Focusing on the customer satisfaction keeping in mind the needs and wants
•   Values needs to be contained by the business, and to be followed by everyone.
•   Future desires to be recognized and projected
•   Focusing on prospect mainly in the commercial segment.
There are various means of promotional media marketing such as advertising over the television, radios, newspapers, word of mouth, white paper prints, internet (consists various types of marketing such as emails, i-marketing, web marketing etc) publication, point of sale, novelty items, in-game and many more.
To get the advertising done successfully one has to market the products in such a way that it gets to the attention of buyers.
